Mom and Dad,
I'm doing pretty good! I had an experience this week that really opened my eyes about serving! So this member that lives in our complex was having a hard time cuz her grandma died. A couple days before I asked her if we could share a message with her and she said ok. We went over there, knowing that her grandma was dying, and shared the scripture Alma 40:11-12. I told
her that the scripture helped me a lot and comforted me when grandpa died. She was crying and def felt the spirit. The day after her grandma passed, she called and asked if we could meet again. She met with us just to thank me and to say she is happy that I came on my mission. The lesson we taught was given just by me, she doesn't really like Anderson either. And she just was pretty much saying, do what you got to do to stay because you can relate to people and that's what's going to help them. So no me and Anderson aren't getting along, but I'm not too worried about coming home because i know this is where I'm supposed to be!
We gave a soft commitment to an investigator named Anne Major and she accepted. So next lesson we are going to try and give her a date! So things are getting better! We're working with less actives and two families are now active so that's always good work too!:)
It's still staying in the 80's! I have a nice tan line on my neck from my collar! Haha!
I'm trying to do all that I can to stay out here because I know that I have a duty to do and that coming
home would solve nothing!
Hope all is well! Love you!
