Weekly Email - 6/3/13

Things are going good! We had a pretty good week this week! We taught Kimberly and Clara half of the plan of salvation and we'll be going over there again on Thursday! They're still on date but we need to get them to church this week. We'll have to try setting up a ride for them. Maybe that will make them feel obligated to go. Hopefully we can start teaching them twice a week. 

We're still looking to find more investigators as well as work with Less Actives and Part Member families. We went to a part member home last night and he makes really cool cakes like you'd see on cake boss! They invited us back to have dinner and liked us a lot. 

I've found that the best way to do missionary work is to just show a general love for the people no matter what the situation. Ernest and his guardian won't be able to meet with us for the next couple of weeks. She wants to finish some classes before she get's into learning about the church. Harrietta and Alexander are doing great though! They're getting into the swing of things and loving the church. The Ward Mission Leader invited them over for dinner last night. Harrietta wasn't able to go, but Alex was there and He has a son that was ordained to be a Deacon the same day Alex was. So it was good for him and he seemed like he had a good time!
