Mom,
Hope all is going well! Things are going good! Carol Seagraves and
Tyler Nutt are still on line for Baptism.. We might have to push Tylers
back a week depending on if he comes to church or not this week.. We
also have another Investigator with a baptismal date named Rev. John
Varner! He's super legit and totally understands the Authority being
lost after Christ and the Apostles left the Earth! He's on date for the
21st!
My Companion, Elder Everett is from Hayward, California! (Oakland
area) He's way cool! We get along just fine!
President Wolfert
challenged the mission to talk to 70 people outside of Tracting a week
and we did it last week! So this coming week is going to be super busy!
It should be fun! In talking to all of those people we've ran into some
very interesting people! One guy told us that God appeared to him and
night and told him that he was the one... It was kind of awkward... But
we've also, in meeting all these people have
gotten in a few Bible Bashes! They are always interesting to hear they
way people take what the Bible says! But in some cases, you see the
light in there eyes and they begin to understand what we're saying and
it's great!
But that's what's going on mostly down here! I was wandering
if you could send me Deans Ties that he meant to give me before I left
or if you still have them.. I now understand and appreciate the beauty
of all the ties he had! Haha! But yeah! How's the work in the Temple and
stuff going? All the Elders here think it's pretty cool you get to do
work on them! I hope things continue to be well for you!
