Mom,
Things are pretty much the same here! We have 2 more investigators
with Baptismal dates! Readies, and Shirley! Both really cool! Readies
knows and believes that the church and the Book of Mormon are true.. But
it's going to take time to help her comprehend things.. She has a few
health problems and on top of that she's pretty lazy as well.. So it's
hard to get her to keep her commitments! Shirley is great! We met her Tuesday and taught her the first Saturday. Every time we have met with
her she has expressed how there is a spirit with us that makes her feel
great and she basically commands us to come back and teach her more!
It's pretty cool! We've been working with a LA family recently and the
parents have been smoke free for a week! Super proud of them! Also Alton
has been soft-commited to baptism! He's progressing well! We're working
with Carol to help her stop smoking!
If we keep working with her she should be ready for baptism still on
the 28th! But we havent been able to get in with Tyler lately.. He works
a lot!
For the 4th we went to a couple members houses and ate with
them! Had some really good meals! Smoked ribs, mashed potatoes, so on
and so forth.. But the weirdest thing I've had since I've been out here
is a "mater samich" Basically a tomato sandwich with mayo on it. that's
it.. It's actually not that bad! I haven't seen too many crazy things..
It seems like the crazy things don't seem so crazy to me now.. Haha!
We'll be moving into a members home in McDonough in the next week or so
because our area is huge! So We'll be able to go from one place to the
other and conserve miles!
It's ok about the E-mail last week!
Understandable mistake! How are you and the family doing? When does Brad
go to EFY? Hope all continues to be well! Love you!
