Mom,
All is going well! It's getting real hot here, especially because
it's the end of the month and we're trying to stay under the miles that
we're given so we've been biking a ton! I don't like biking too much!
Especially in the heat..
Anyway, what's going on with our
investigators.. We had to drop Forest's Baptisimal date because he
didn't make it to church yesterday... But we're going over tonight so
we're going to be trying to set him up for a new one.. Most likely the
18 of August. We found a family to teach! The parents names are Brandy
and Chad, We're going over there tonight as well! We're super excited
for them! That's as far as most of our main Investigators are at the
moment.. But the Hawkins family, Who has been less active about 2 years
or so, and smoking, have been smoke free for 4 weeks and made it to
church yesterday! I'm super happy for them and the change that we've
seen with them! They're an awesome family and really had the
desire to change! They have a daughter that is nine and not baptized
due to them being less active, but they are working towards her getting
baptized! I can't wait for them!
But not too much else has been going
on... We've had a lot of Less Active families inviting us to dinner and
such, But the investigator side of things is just trying to help them
keep commitments! That story about Kyle and the car is super hillarious!
I have people looking at me weird at the Library from laughing so hard!
