Things are going well! Just still trying to find more people to
teach.. It's hard to be in the same area for so long.. Half way through
the transfer now so I'll have to tough it out and keep working on it!
The next transfer is the day before thanksgiving and most likely I'll be
the one leaving because I'd be in the Jackson Branch for 7 months by
that time!
Author hasn't been able to quit.. He's still smoking 2 cigarettes a
day so we're going to lay down the law with him tomorrow and really
work on him to quit. Antoine is still on date.. Just gotta finish
teaching him this week before his interview on Thurs. or Friday. He
should be fine.. He's a really bright kid and loves to meet with us! I'm
not sure if his brother will be able to do the baptism.. We've gotta
set up a time with him and the Branch Pres. to have an interview to make
sure he's worthy to do so! But other than that we just need to find
people to give talks and do the prayers.. We're going to ask a member of
the congregation, Bro. Carrin to do the confirmation.
This week, on
Wednesday, Sis Hawkins came to Hula practice, for the Luau, and asked if
I would be able to baptize her daughter! She's nine and so we'll have
to teach her.. And we'll have to do that on the 17th so I'll still be
here! That was really exciting. Hopefully Annabelle getting baptized
will help bring them back into activation. We also learned a Samoan slap
dance that we taught the young men on Wednesday! It was a lot of fun
and it's pretty cool! The Luau is on the 9th and should be a lot of fun!
Logan's costume is suuppeerr cool though! It's legit!! Avery sounds like she's
gonna be super sassy! Haha! But sounds like your kids are growing up
super fast and not waiting for me.. So I give them permission to
continue! Haha! Hope Halloween goes well! Enjoy! Love y'all!
