Mom,
Things went great at the Luau! We had 9 total investigators there!
It was a great time! One of the sisters' Mom showed up because she heard
that her daughter was doing a Luau and she flew out from Hawaii to come
and help... Big time against the rules but she didn't get in trouble..
Haha! The mission President came, too! He just told her not to do that
again. It reminded me of something that Ginny would do! Haha! She said
that she knew them, they're from Laie so from what I remember it wasn't
very far from where Gene and Ginny live.. The performance went well! I'll
send home a video of some of the dance! The camera ran out of memory in
the middle of everything so I only have a little of the dance, but all
of the Haka! I'll need to send home this card at the end of the
transfers! I'll know if I'm staying or going next week!
Author is doing alright.. Not really progressing with his smoking,
just needs to learn how to stay busy with his hands and use what he has
around the house to stay busy too.. We have a new investigator named
Brenda! We met her while we were doing service for another investigator
named Dan Eddy! She asked how she could get us to come over there and
help her out and I just told her that we just need her phone number a
day and time to come help! She was excited so we'll be going over there
sometime this week to help her in her yard.
We also had Zone Conference
this week! It was really good! Saw some friends that'll be going home
this transfer! And also got a lot of their ties! I now have 120!:)
I
can't really plan on Thanksgiving here because it's more than likely
that I'll be transferred the day before! I'm hoping wherever I go will
have a Turkey Bowl that morning! I can't imagine Thanksgiving without
some kind of Football game! Haha!
But all is going well! Just trying to
stay active in Jackson! It's hard to do that when you've been in one
area for so long! Just gotta find new ways to do things I guess! Love
you!
