Mom,
Things are kinda rough this week.. Antoine ended up not
getting baptized.. He went to a homecoming at his Uncles church last
weekend and his Uncle got a hold of him and even his brother, Terrell,
and Anti'd them.. Terrell kinda started wavering in his beliefs and
started to do some bad things... He's doing better now. We've been going
over there a lot and giving him the new member lessons. He said that's
been helping him out! And Antoine said he just doesn't want to get
baptized anymore. His testimony just isn't where it needed to be I
guess. At least we were able to teach him and plant some seeds.
Author
is doing pretty well. He's cut down his smoking to one a day. Now we
need to get him totally off before December! He'll be ready. He knows
that the church is true and is just waiting to be baptized now!
We did end up going to Brother Carrins and hand out candy!
It was a lot of fun! It reminded me a lot of home! It was basically
like your party just not nearly as many people. We ate Chilli and had a
lot of fun hanging out with his family and some members from the Branch!
The Luau is this weekend! We're all super excited about it! We're doing
the Haka and a slap dance for it with the YM so it should be really
good! I'll take pictures of that too. I should be sending home this card
soon since it's smaller than the other one, so I'll need to get one of
the cards back before I do that!
I'll be sure to send something to Ric! I hope he's doing well! I'm
sure the biking and staying in shape has helped him fight it off! I got
the Letter from Keary as well! I'll be sure to write him and Johnny and
Colleen as well!
