Mom and Dad,
Things are going well! We found out about transfers today! I'll be staying
and getting Elder Youd! He was just a Zone Leader in Conyers and me and him get
along really well! He's a hard worker too so I'm looking forward to working with
him!
We've gotten a few referrals in the last couple of weeks, and have kinda
started all over with our investigators because Ryan is really busy, and Amber
hasn't been moving lately.. It's been really tough. We're starting to teach one
of Bro Posey's friends Tim! He's a really good guy and loves it when we come and
see him! The other referrals we have will be contacted this week and we'll be
keeping Ryan and Amber on the radar so we can see if we can get them moving.
We got a referral the other day for a guy named Loll. He was there with a
Less Active family we work with, the Meincke's, and his girlfriend, is the
Meincke's daughter who was recently in a car accident and needed a blessing.
After the blessing, Loll went outside to talk to the Home Teachers that
performed the blessing and said that he's never felt the spirit in a way that he
has in our church and wants to know how he can join! It's a really cool
experience and we should be meeting with him soon to help him progress! It's
amazing to see the hand of the Lord in all things. Even when they look bad
initially!
We've been trying to see some Less Active families and families that could
potentially go to the temple! One of them is the Dokos's. They're a family with
a few recent converts and we're working with them to try and get them to the
temple! They're really nice and open to us coming by and teaching them lessons!
We're also working with the Gathercoles and the Tortorellos. Both are part
member and Less Active families that have potetial for baptism and eventually
going to the temple!
We've really been focused on working through the members lately and it's
working really well for us! Thank you for all you do! I love you and thank you
for all you do.
