Family,
Found out I'm getting transferred today to Centerville.. Back to the Conyers Zone. I'm not really happy about it so I'm not really in the mood to talk.. I'll share a quick story about a cool experience me and Elder Youd had teaching a Less Active Family this month...
It was the first time
we were able to teach this family, they had been struggling a lot in
the family since Christmas time. We went over there to kinda get a feel
for them and what was going on with them.. We were about to leave and
were leaving a spiritual thought from Matt. 14 where Christ is walking
on the water and Peter calls out to him. Peter starts to walk towards
Christ but right when he takes his eyes off of Christ, and focuses on
what's going on around him, he begins to sink. Right when we read the
verse that talks about Christ reaching his hand out to save Peter, the
phone rang.. Earlier that day, Sister Marr was on the phone with the
Jail, and it was going to be another 60 days before their foster son was
going to be released. She answered the Phone this time and it was her
foster son saying that he was being released from prison and was able to
come home. We can take from this that the Gospel blesses families. That
if we stay strong even in our weaknesses, they will become our
strengths. Hope all is going well for ya'll! Love you!
