Guess who we got to talk to on Mother's Day? Yay! He looked great and seemed very happy. The day before (May 11), he had just had two baptisms! Looks like his hard work is paying off. There are going to be some changes coming because of the creation of a new mission in Atlanta, but if he stays in his current mission, his release date will probably be the week of Thanksgiving! It seems to be coming so quickly!
This will most likely be our last Skype chat with Elder Boman. The hardest part for me was watching Brad talk to him and at the end, he said, "See you in 2 1/2 years" and they both got emotional. And Mom. And me. I think the new mission age is so great, but it will make it hard for these brothers if they have to go 4 years without seeing each other. We'll see what happens. I know Jeff has been a great example to Brad and he had some good missionary advice for him. I think he has grown up and matured so much while he is serving the Lord.
Mom and Dad talking to Jeff. All of our family was able to be there, including Grandmas and Uncle Rica and Aunt Joan and also some of Jeff's friends. Aaron, Jordan, Blake and Couper all came to say hi.
