Sorry - We've been out of town so I've gotten a little behind on the posts. Here are a few today and hopefully I can get some pics posted this week!
Dad,
Things are going great! The new ward is super awesome and fun! The members are great and are helping a lot with the work! My new companion is Elder Famas. He's a pretty cool kid. Kind of a nerd but we get a long fine! We have a couple investigators right now with one with a date. His name is Dave Dyer. He's been investigating the church for about 5 years now. His date is New Years Eve. We might be moving it up in the next little while though!
We have another investigator named Amber, and she's just waiting to recieve her answer about the Book of Mormon. Her sister is a member and has kids so she's been coming to church and seems to like it so far. I am driving, and I got a GPS to use for awhile and possibly the missionary who I got it from might be giving it to me since he goes home next transfer! As long as I have a car I most likely won't be using a bike. But they switch you in and out of car area's every so often! So I will be using my bike again eventually!
I did get the Thanksgiving card! And I'm looking for something to do with that 10 dollars! I think that's an awesome idea! For Thanksgiving we went to a members house and had dinner and played games with them for most of the day. It was a lot of fun. The next day we went over there to help them do their Christmas lights, and they're the kind of family that does a ton for their yard and does it to music! It was really cool! It took us 4 hours to do that. Funny story: while we were doing this we got in a duct tape fight and I duct taped the Torgerson's daughters hair and so her and the other
missionaries ganged up on me and duct taped me like you would see in the movies when they kidnap someone and throw them in the back of a big van! It hurt to take the tape off of my legs cuz I was wearing shorts but it was a lot of fun so it was worth it!
All is well here! I hope ya'll enjoy the Holiday season! People seem to be more open to Religion during this time! So I hope you'll take advantage of this Christian season and try to share the gospel with someone! I know it's true and if you do so it will bless your life! I Love You!
