Exciting news! Jeff should be having his first baptism this week! Please keep him and his investigator in your prayers this week!
Mom,
Things are going great! We've been looking for new investigators
and got a couple referrals this week! So we'll see where they go. One of
the referrals we got was a man named Tim Knistich.. He's a good guy. He
wants to know more about the church and was a referral from Temple
Square! The other was a member referral. He's been reading the Book of
Morman and is a 14 year old boy named Matthew. He knows a ton about the
Bible. It's like teaching a Pastor! It's crazy! Amber is still working
on her answer.. I'm not really familiar about the Dave Wilcox story..
I've probably heard it but I'm not sure if I can tell it or if I'm
thinking of the right one. Haha! Anyway. Dave is doing well.. He's no
longer on date for the 31st... He came to church on Sunday after we had
went over the Baptismal interview questions and after he had talked to
his main fellowshippers, the Kirks, who are moving to Utah next week, He
said that he wanted to be baptized on the 15! This
Saturday! So it looks like my first baptism is coming up!! I'm pretty
excited about that!
I'm not totally sure what the plan is for Christmas.. But I'll
figure it out and let you know next week! We're going to the Torgerson's
for Christmas. It's the same place we went for Thanksgiving so it
should be a lot of fun!
I love the Christmas season! It seems like every day we get closer
to Christmas people's minds naturally turn to the Savior. We went to
something called Back to Bethlehem on Friday with the Torgerson family.
What it is, is it's a farm that they made it so it's kinda like the town
of Bethlehem and they had people from a Church play the roles of
guards, angels, towns people, the nativity, etc. It was really cool!
They had Camels and all sorts of things. They give you a coin at the
beginning before you go into the city and you pay your taxes to the
collector! I liked it a lot and had a lot of fun! I love Christmas!
We're gonna go to the lights at a park in our area for my Birthday with a
family in the ward! That was one of my favorite things to do around
Christmas is go to the lights at Temple Square or just at the Layton
park! It's a ton of fun! I hope ya'll have a great week and Christmas!
And remember that the greatest gift we could ever
receive in this life is the gift of the Savior and his atonment! I love
you!

Kyle,
Things are going well buddy! It's still pretty warm here.. It's
around the 50's and so it's perfect for me! I love it! I'm learning how
to play Time of Your Life by Green Day on the Guitar! It's cool! I don't
have a guitar but another missionary does, and he's really good so He's
teaching me a lot of stuff! I miss Christmas specials and movies! It's
super sick! Hope you have fun dude! Remember the reason we celebrate
Christmas is because of the Savior! Love yuh dude!
