Things are getting better.. I'm
getting used to everything with the rules and stuff.. I figure i only
have a little bit left, so whatever Pres thinks of me is fine, i'll just
show him rather than making a fuss about it. This week has been pretty
good! Not so great on the numbers side because E. Packard had a lot of
Meetings, so i was on an exchange with E. McMahon! He's a really cool
kid from San Diego. He's a music major at BYU and has an album on
itunes. He's really good! He's had a couple contract offers before the
mission, so i wouldn't be surprised if he was famous when he got home.
But we went to a shopping center on Thursday and we played some Hymns
while the sisters contacted people! It was a lot of fun!
As far as meeting with
investigators go, all of our appointments fell through except for our
appointment with Brother Dunlap! He's doing great! He's still praying,
reading, and he came to church! He just has concerns with Coffee and Tea
and isn't ready to give that up. So we told him to keep doing what he's
doing, and he'll find an answer to if he needs to give those things up
or not.
This week we're having a BBQ
for some people the Sisters have been fellowshipping, they're their next
door neighbors and we're gonna be meeting them by doing this. We
invited a few members from the ward that we think would be good
fellowshippers so all should go well with them! We're really trying to
get the ward pumped for missionary work. They're kind of on a spiritual
low and aren't really motivated to do it... Good news is one of the
members got up in Fast and Testimony meeting yesterday and was talking
about how the missionaries don't get fed! He said there is no excuse for
that and we have dinners this week now! Haha! I was excited about that!
Things are getting better..
I've been praying to know if i still needed to be on my mission or not
this week. Yesterday we went tracting and I don't think one person
didn't say thank you for what we were doing. I took that as an answer
and gave me peace! I love and miss all of you! hope all is well!

Mom - if you're sending a
package, i was wondering if you could send a little extra money this
month? We had to buy a lot of stuff for the BBQ so i'm not sure if I'll
make it to the end of the month.. But it's good to have a reserve fund
