Mom and Dad,
Things are going good! It was kind of a slow week. Most of our
appointments fell through but we managed to keep working hard and find
teaching opportunities! We got a referral for a Recent Converts parents!
We met up with them on Saturday and they're really nice people! Said
they'd love to have us over again sometime for dinner and a discussion!
They're very into their church but they're open to hear about the church
because they saw the change their daughter had! We'll contact them
again soon to try and set something up later in the week.
We didn't get a chance to meet with Ryan this week.. He was busy with school and work so we had to cancel. But he said he enjoyed church when he came last week so that's a good sign. We met with Amber on Wednesday briefly.. She's not really progressing.. We're going to try and reteach the first lesson and see what she believes on the restoration.. Depending on her understanding and desire, we might have to drop her.
It was a fun week though. We play basketball on Thursday nights and we usually have an investigator or a less active member show up so it's really good finding and fellowshipping tool! Plus it's Basketball! It doesn't get much better than that! We're working a lot on Less Actives.. Hopefully we'll be able to meet with the Meincke's this week! They're fun, good family that we can see getting back and active in the church.. A lot of the other families that we visit don't really seem to want it that badly though.. We've been working with the Ward Council to try and update the families on the 555 so the Less Active work here can progress more!

On another note.. Please keep our recent converts, David Dyer's family in your prayers. Dave suffered from multiple strokes throughout the week and passed away late Saturday evening.
