Mom and Dad,
Things are going well here! We
were able to meet with a few families from the 555 program this week and
set some appointments up for this coming week and also set appointments
with Amber and Ryan as well.. So this week should be a busy one! Plus
we got a few team ups so that should be good! We've also been asking the
Members for Referrals so hopefully this week our teaching pool will
start to take off!
I did get my package! I was out
with a team up that night so we got home a little later than usual!
We're supposed to try and stay out until 9:00 but it's hard to do when
you don't have any set appointments and it gets dark so early. But we're
working on scheduling more appointments in the evening so we can do
that! Thank you for everything! I gave the Torgersen's a loaf of the
Banana bread and they said Thank you as well and thought it was really
good!
Dave Dyer was our baptism in
December.. He got sick like a week before and wasn't feeling too well
from it. We got his home teachers to go and give him a blessing Monday night. Tuesday morning
he suffered from a stroke and was taken to the Hospital where he
suffered from a couple more. He was put on Life Support until Saturday
when they decided to pull the plug. Later that evening he passed away.
He was in his 50's.
All is going well! I'm working
hard and being good! It's been hard though because Elder Famas is going
home in May, and he's starting to get a little burnt out! So I'm working
on finding ways for him to stay motivated and keep working! I love you!
